Position Description:

The IBM DataPower Consultant will be responsible for Systems Software (SW) and Firmware Updates for the Client’s DataPower Units, conducting an Initial Assessment and Planning, Version Identification, Image Download, and Verification at the client’s site. The Consultant will also be responsible for Development Environment Setup, Production Environment Deployment, Validation and Testing, Documentation and Reporting, and Verification of successful updates.
 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated ability to update Certificates
    • Inventory
    • Certificate Renewal
    • Certificate Deployment
    • Testing and Verification of updated Certificates
    • Ability to provide comprehensive documentation of all Certificate updates
  • Demonstrated ability to perform health checks
    • Review configurations
    • Document findings
    • Review findings with the client and provide a remediation plan.
    • Implement approved configuration adjustments in line with best practices and the client's operational needs
  • Proven ability to perform Remediation and Enablement of all executed activitie
    • Implement recommended changes
    • Conduct a thorough Interface Assessment
    • Switch interfaces into the client’s identified network
    • Verify application functionality
    • Optimize DataPower implementations by tuning and configuration adjustments
  • Articulate, professional, and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, and high-profile environment with short deadlines, competing priorities, and intense pressure to perform.
